How do I connect the DDR pad for Wii console? ?

I recently bought DDR Hottest Party 2 comes with the dance floor, but I can not connect to the Wii. I have read that plugs into the slot on top GameCube, but it is proving to two memory cards and so I wonder where exactly to a wall electric current, and if I need some kind of adapter or something! Hahaha … I bet that's a stupid question, but I'm struggling with that! Thanks for your help!

Two groups of lid open on this side of the Wii. It has 2 memory card locations (where), while the other has 4 ports for joysticks.
